“ Oh yum!! Delicious southern food made be true southerners-you can’t beat it. Loved the brown gravy. I can never make gravy like that. There’s a bunch of desserts I would love to try next time. Saw this on google search on our way to Myrtle Beach and it looked really unique. Love the 50’s vibe with the country guitars all signed. It’s nestled in a small country town with nice people. Super clean too! ”
“ Excellent vegetable soup. Beef tips impressed my mom, who always has a complaint ready. Not today, not here! BLT and beets were loved by my aunt. The bride loved her turkey club. The groom enjoyed his beef tips. Hushpuppies top notch. Celebrate here! Laura is the best! ”
“ We were passing through the state and decided to stop for lunch. We found this place on Google, about 3 miles from I-95. The building is pretty old looking but what a great choice. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and generously portioned. We had great service and the food came out quickly. I had the best corn pudding and dressing ever! All of our food was seasoned perfectly and tasted homemade from scratch. I had plenty of leftovers to pack up and we even ordered extra sides and desserts to take home with us. We decided that the next time we have to drive through the state we are going to time it so we can stop at Oscar’s. ”
“ We were driving on interstate 95. Decided to try a local restaurant. Man, let me tell you... this place is amazing. The food is above top-notch. So delicious. Now, the big bonus for us.. It's like being in Nashville Hall of Fame. Signed guitars from multiple old-school country singers. I mean a bunch of sign guitars. We sat by the signed Willie Nelson guitar. Couldn't ask for a better table . The food portions are huge. Its a true 50's style diner. Our waitress was so friendly & pure heart felt smiles from her. My family took a family vote, its now our go to spot when we are traveling North. Don't pass this place up. Its only a 5 minute drive off of I95. ”
“ This is a nice local diner style restaurant! Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I stopped here after fishing Lake Gaston one evening and ordered the hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, and some French fries. I've also ordered the pancakes for breakfast, and those are perfect! Definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it. ”
